Weight is a helpful starting point, but your pet’s collar size and build matter too. Smaller tags are generally a better fit for cats and smaller dogs with slim collars, while wider collars can comfortably accommodate a larger tag. If you’re between sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller option for a lighter, more comfortable fit.

Both finishes use the same heavyweight zinc alloy core with an aged antique plating. The two below use the same design and the same lighting, so the only thing changing is the metal itself.
Their name goes on the front, and the important stuff goes on the back. Add a phone number, address, microchip details, or anything else that could help them find their way home.
Their name, up to 14 characters. Longer names are engraved a little smaller so they still fit.
Up to 4 lines of 22 characters. Enough for a phone number, backup contact, microchip details, or other important information. The back uses the same font as the front unless you choose another.
Choose a QR code instead of traditional back engraving for an additional $5.00. When scanned, it opens a pet profile that you can create and update anytime, at no additional cost for the life of the tag. Your phone number is also engraved beneath the QR code, making it easy for someone to contact you without scanning it.
A full street address may not fit within the 22-character-per-line limit, so keep that in mind when choosing what to include. Everything is engraved exactly as entered, so be sure to double-check your information before ordering.

There are 96 shapes to place, from borders and paw prints to hearts, stars and simple geometry. Their name and the back of the tag, lines or a QR code, work the same way they do on any other tag.

Every tag is fiber laser engraved directly into the metal, so the design becomes part of the tag rather than sitting on top of it. There is no ink, paint, or vinyl to peel, scratch off, or fade away.
The laser cuts through the plated finish and into the core underneath, which is what gives the engraving its contrast. That core is a heavyweight zinc alloy at 1.7 mm thick, so the tag has some weight to it and does not bend easily.
Our pet tags are water, scratch, and fade resistant, but a little care will help preserve its antique finish. Wipe it clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry it thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, and prolonged soaking. Some wear may naturally develop over time with everyday use.

Every tag is made to order and engraved here in Utah. Nothing is sitting on a shelf waiting.
Allow three to five business days for us to make it, then five to seven for USPS to bring it to you.
Personalized tags cannot be refunded once they are engraved, so please check spelling and phone numbers before you order.
Your shipping email has an Order It Again button that puts the same tag straight back in your cart, so a lost or worn tag is a two-minute job. Keep that email.
A matching split ring comes with every tag, so it is ready to go straight onto the collar. Your confirmation email lists every tag on the order and exactly what goes on it, and your order page shows the same, so it is easy to check. If you spot a mistake after ordering, email us right away and we will catch it before it reaches the laser.
