Find the right size
Three sizes. The tags below are drawn to scale against each other, so the difference you can see here is the real difference.
Weight is a rough guide rather than a rule. A broad collar suits a bigger tag than the number suggests, and a cat or a small dog with a narrow collar suits the small one. If you are between two, the smaller tag is the quieter one.
Print this at 100% to see them at actual size
Print with scaling off, or set to 100%, then hold the circles against your pet's collar. On screen these are only approximate, because a browser cannot know how big your monitor is.
Choose your finish
Two finishes, both solid metal with an aged look. Same design and same lighting below, so what changes between them is only the metal.
Make it personal
The pet's name goes on the front. Everything you want someone to read if they find them goes on the back.
Their name, up to 14 characters.
Up to 4 lines, 22 characters each. A phone number, a second number, a microchip number, or anything else worth engraving.
Worth knowing before you plan it: a full address rarely fits in 22 characters a line. Most people use a phone number and a second contact instead. Whatever you type is engraved exactly as you type it, so check the number twice.
Choose a font
All 20 of them, each one drawn the same way the real tag is drawn.
Choose a design
83 to pick from, across 6 categories.
How it's engraved
Each tag is fiber laser engraved directly into the metal. The design is cut into the surface rather than printed on top of it, which is why it cannot peel, scratch off, or fade the way a printed tag does.
Ours get tested the hard way. Between the three of them our dogs have taken their tags camping, through mud, and in and out of water, and the engraving is still as sharp as the day it came off the laser.
Before you order
You will see the finished tag before you pay. The preview on every design page shows your pet's name in the font and finish you picked, front and back, so nothing about the tag is a surprise when it arrives.
Every tag is made to order and engraved by hand here in Roy, Utah, so allow one to three business days to make it, then postage on top. A split ring is included, so it is ready to go straight onto the collar.
One thing to be sure about: because each tag is engraved with your own words, it cannot be resold, and custom items are not refundable once they have been engraved. If you spot a mistake, email us straight away and we will fix it before it goes on the laser.
